My name is Amy Ruth and I’m thirty three years old born and raised in Southern California.
I am the daughter of the most high King, Jesus Christ, and have been following Him since 2002.
I also have the privilege of being married to my high school sweetheart, Andy, and we’ve been married for 13 years! Praise Jesus!
I’m a mommy to two of the best little chil’ren you’ll ever meet (I’m slightly biased)… Sunday Bliss who is 4 years old and Denver Andres who just turned two years old this past May.
I can’t forget my amazing parents, Jerry and Gloria and I have an older brother named Adam and two younger sisters, Angelina (whom is on this blog – obvs) and April (who blogs as well and you can find her here).
I love Pinterest, photography, organizing, baking, gymnastics, interior design, Bible Journaling and making You Tube videos (I have a makeup channel, a personal channel and my daughter, Sunday Bliss, even has her own channel).
I spend a majority of my time cleaning up after my two darling angels (did I mention that I also enjoy a little sarcasm?) but when I’m not doing that I try to find ways to serve the Lord by being a helper to my husband, an example to my children and most importantly a servant of Jesus. At least that’s my goals on a daily basis, which I often fail at but have learned that the Lord is long suffering (thankfully) and I’m just ultimately a work in progress. Which leads me to why I am here on this blog with my sister, Angelina. Life is rough, unfair and demanding but despite all of that we must shine bright for the Lord and I truly believe He has called us both to shine to the best of our ability by blogging.
As a married woman, I believe it is our highest calling to be the helper to our husbands and the best way we can do that is through our homemaking skills that glorify the Lord. This is what this blog is about.
